I took a look WiZiQ and see that it is a hosting site for online classrooms. I lean more toward using Moodle to create my own site. But I have much too little experience with either one. Just started installing Moodle. Once I have it running I will see how it compares.
I will take a look at WiZiQ, but my interest is creating resources for others rather than using what others have created to teach. The Enabling Support Foundation has a major web resource for k12 on Educational Synthesis and creates small projects to meet specific educational objectives.
Yes, I have already signed up for WiZiQ, thanks to your link on this site - and tried out a public class just for fun! I haven't checked it out very thoroughly yet, but it looks great. I showed it to a colleague, who loves the whiteboard and is using it with his class. Another colleague was a little suspicious of it and suggested that since it is at the beta stage they are likely to end up charging for it later. What use have you made of it?
